Chase Taylor are recruiting for a Technical Support Technician to assist with the design, development, testing and support of products produced by our client, a specialist manufacturer of composite doors. This position is based in Worcester and reports directly to the Senior Technical Manager.
Duties include preparing documents, CAD drawings and data sheets required for audit. You will be involved in primary sample testing for security, weather and operational performance, fire integrity and smoke leakage as well as assisting with the compilation and maintenance of the product technical manuals and database.
The ideal candidate will have relevant fenestration industry experience and will assist with the research and development of samples for new products. Successful candidates must work to a high level of accuracy, have attention to detail and be inventive with their approach to problem solving.
