Just Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-regarded organisation - based on the outskirts of Colchester.
Working within the Project and Sales Department, you will specialise in writing customer focused service reports and preparing quotations for the repair and replacement of equipment. You will deliver remedial and installation works from enquiry, through to completion and invoice.
In this role your key responsibilities will include:
??? Provide a high standard of customer service through a polite and efficient 'can do' attitude to meet customer expectations
??? Provide technical support to customers
??? Review Engineers reports and photos to understand the repair and identify any missing
and/or inaccurate information. Contact the Engineer where necessary to gain more
information
??? Producing customer focused and accurate reports and quotations
??? Commercial awareness i.e. protecting company reputation, ensuring profitability and
developing/maintaining good customer relationships
??? Review product datasheets to confirm suitability of replacement parts
??? Contact suppliers for quotes, purchasing and queries
??? Liaise with Production for on-time build and ensure any special requirements are
communicated and delivered
??? Effectively and efficiently managing jobs from enquiry to invoice
??? Completion any paperwork as required by the job
??? Provide quick and effective support to assist our on-site Engineers
??? Update information on the Service Database
??? Communicate potential opportunities for business to relevant departments
??? Maintaining stock accuracy for any additional, surplus and returned parts
??? Managing warranty issues
??? Corrective reporting
??? Customer invoicing
??? Purchase invoice queries
??? Work to Department KPI's
??? Other related tasks when necessary
Essential skills and experience for the role:
??? GCSE Math's & English at grade C or above
??? Competent Microsoft Office user
??? Previous technical support experience
??? An aptitude for report writing and preparing quotations
??? Attention to detail
??? Confident telephone manner
??? UK Driving Licence
??? Organised and self-motivated
??? Customer focused
??? Demonstrate a knowledge of the functions, operation and mission of the department.
??? Being able to adapt to challenging situations.
??? Ability to make decisions and take responsibility.
??? Ability to effectively work from home if required to do so.
