Select Engineering are working with an "award winning" business on the outskirts of Lincoln. Due to expansion plans, our client is recruiting Team Leaders to join them during this period of growth.

Job Summary:

As Team Leader, you will lead, manage, develop and provide continued support to a team of production / manufacturing operatives, whilst striving to meet production demands in accordance with production schedules. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will liaise and communicate on a regular basis to ensure any discrepancies are being dealt with.

A minimum of 1 years experience in Production.

Shift Hours:

12 Hour shifts - 6.00pm to 6.00am. (Nights)
4 days on then 4 days off

Key Responsibilities

•Supervise the production and manufacturing department with regard to production processes, machine operation, conduct, quality and overall health & safety
•Manage production schedules and allocate daily schedules to team
•Check and solve any discrepancies in the production process
•Ensure production is carried out to company quality standards
•Follow health & safety standards as per ISO: 9001 and GMP
•Coordinate with Maintenance staff to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum and prevent breakdowns
•Raise corrective actions reports (CAPA) on quality issues
•Ensure machine downtime during product change is kept to a minimum
•Oversee staff performance and report and issues / concerns to the Production Manager
•Develop effective communication with the team
•Motivate and lead the team
•Identify any training requirements and liaise with the relevant people
•Continually look for ways to improve efficiency and production
•Ensure staff work in accordance with company health & safety procedures
•To provide cover for the Operatives as and when required
