Job Title: IT Systems Administrator
Salary: Up to GBP25,000 to GBP30,000 per annum, (depending on experience)
Location: Hitchin
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
Company Profile: A busy, well-established Managed Services Provider, providing end to end solutions for a valued customer portfolio with a fantastic focus on providing quality customer service, are now looking for an IT Generalist to join their small and dedicated team of IT professionals.
The Role:
* IT user administration
* Handling day to day queries from customers via phone, e-mail and online chat
* Keep customers updated with progress
* Ability to explain technical problems to a non-technical audience
* Troubleshooting issues and using initiative to find solutions
* Onsite customer visits for issues that cannot be solved remotely
* Systems monitoring
* Support with technical implementation projects
* Administer active directory, 365 and other cloud services, and so on
Skills/Experience Required:
* Circa 2 years+ IT infrastructure support
* Experience within windows operating systems, office 365 administration, Exchange, Active Directory, IP networking, antivirus technologies, scripting languages e.g. Powershell, and so on.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Great problem solving and calm approach
* Solid customer service skills
