The Role:

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a HR Administrator to join our friendly HR team.

Working alongside the HR Advisors, the successful applicant will provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Employment Relations Team and lead on the administration of all employee relations activity for the organisation, with the support of the HR Team.

This is a busy role, but one that offers an excellent opportunity to develop a range of administration skills in an HR role, as well as an understanding of the work and role of NICE within the NHS. You will have the opportunity to learn from your HR colleagues and will be encouraged to rise to all challenges and opportunities available to you.

What you will bring to NICE:

Candidates interested in this role will be highly motivated, organised, reliable, and able to work as part of a team and able to use own initiative while developing to work independently. Applicants must be competent users in all Microsoft Office packages with intermediate abilities in Outlook, MS Word and Excel.

The individual will also be expected to liaise with a range of key stakeholders such as union representatives, members of staff and senior management so must demonstrate effective communication skills with an ability to adapt to different audiences.

The post holder should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • GCSE English language and maths grade C or above or equivalent level qualifications or experience
  • Previous experience of working in a customer facing administrative role
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
  • Understanding of the confidential nature of HR work
  • Computer literate with a thorough knowledge of Microsoft office packages
  • High standard of written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt and respond to changing circumstances.

The Department:

As part of the HR Operations team, you will make a key contribution to the delivery of HR Services. This is a busy team, responsible for providing information, advice and support on all Employee Relations issues to managers and employees at all levels across the organisation.
