FM Conway are looking to employ Highway Operative's to work on our flagship Transport for London (South Area) contract, based at our Beddington Lane, Croydon depot.. This is a full-time permanent role offering a range of benefits and competitive salary.

Working hours: There are opportunities available on both days and nights. The working hours are 07:30 - 16:30 or 19:15 - 04:45.

The Highway Operative Role

Reporting to the contract Supervisor you will be required to:

- Undertake reactive works ie slabbing, asphalt, kerbs, street furniture etc

- Achieving outputs to company standards

- Adhering to and promoting safe working processes

- Highlighting resources required to complete work targets effectively.

- Collecting materials required for works to be undertaken

- Carrying out all works with care, using the appropriate tools and safeguards

- Undertaking any necessary traffic management activity

- Use company tablet devices to record all work activities accurately

What we're looking for in our Highway Operative

We are looking for Highway Operatives who have experience in reactive works ie, mason, asphalt, and winter maintenance. Ideally you will have:

- NRSWA Operative

- CSCS

- Lantra TM Certifications - Low & Highspeed, IPV, Multiphase Signals (desirable)

- 7.5 tonne licence/HGV Class 2 licence (desirable)
