Based in Donington, near Spalding, we are a long established, friendly and innovative timber framed windows and doors, manufacturing business. Started in 1884 and still owned by the Barnsdale family, we have grown and adapted with changing trends and technology.
Due to ongoing success we need to recruit Machine Operatives to join our busy factory in Donington, Spalding
Responsible for the use of advanced machinery for the production of timber windows, doors and trims.
Various machines include an automated cross cut, band re-saw and four-sided planer. Feeding and tailing of the relevant machines as required.
Sorting and stacking of timber for the next operation.
Basic square cutting and planning.
Attention to detail and pride in doing a task well are essential.
You must be physically fit to do this role.
Hours of work are 42.5 per week
Normal hours of work are Monday to Friday 7.30 to 5.00 (with three daily breaks)
There will be a requirement to work shifts during peak periods but a shift premium would be paid. Successful applicants must be willing to work shifts when required (these will still be Monday to Friday but with start and finish times between 6.00am to 10.00pm)

• full training is given
Essential Requirements
• Demonstrable machine operation experience and/or the ability to be trained.
Desirable Requirements:
• Use of woodworking machinery and hand tools.
• Use of air and power tools
