Our Client in Atherstone is currently recruiting for a Fork Lift Truck Driver to join there Production Department in Atherstone, Warwickshire.
Key Job Responsibilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow standard work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment
Drive and operate trucks.
Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps.
Pre-inspect truck.
Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed.
Load and unload cargo.
Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.
To be responsible for movement of hazardous materials and waste
Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy
Truck Driver skills & proficiencies:
Reach truck (high loads) and Counterbalance experience
Traffic laws/driving knowledge
Pallet jack experience required; forklift experience required
No DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven years
Listening and verbal communication skills
Good time keeping and ability to be flexible and work shifts including weekends where required
Shifts
Monday to Friday - 8 hour shifts
6am - 2pm
2pm - 10pm
10pm - 6am Qualifications
Reach truck (high loads)
Counterbalance
Pallet jack
Forklift
