Our company creates some of the most cutting-edge software solutions in our field, and we want you to be a part of our team. We are currently in search of an IT and Software Development Manager to; manage, create and maintain software, web services and network systems.

The successful candidate will also help to develop critical products for our clients, and offer excellent technical support. Responsibilities

* Manage and implement new software applications, this will utilise your coding and database skills.

* Manage the maintenance and performance improvements of the existing software.

* Clearly and regularly communicating and driving the management and technical support of software systems.

* Liaise with system architects to ensure development design and updates are carried out as per specifications.

* Manage, test and maintain software products to ensure maximised functionality and optimisation.

* Recommend and research improvements to existing software as necessary.

* Manage, create and maintain accurate plans, logs and schedules for tasks carried out and planned to software or related IT systems.

* Manage, maintain and liaise with third party software systems and service providers to ensure business continuity and improvements.

* Manage and mitigate cyber security risks across the business.

* Manage Software development team members.

Requirements

* Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics or equivalent experience.

* 5+ years' experience in software development or programming.

* 2-3+ years' experience in team management within similar role.

* Qualification in project management is desirable.

* Experience in C#/object-oriented programming, web application development, security and open-source technologies.

* Understanding and experience of .NET frameworks.

* MS SQL Server and T-SQL working knowledge and experience is required, knowledge of U-SQL or big data processing is advantageous.

* Experience with Microsoft Azure and SaaS platforms.

* Experience with Web APIs, web development and cloud security.

* Experience with App development android or IOS would be desirable.

* Understanding of source control systems and software deployment systems.

* Experience with networks and multi-user environments.

* Knowledge of full life-cycle software development from design to release.

* Experience with GUI design and software/user interaction, graphical design and layouts.

* Understanding of 3D modelling and geospatial data processing would be advantageous.

* Organised, methodical and analytical approach to systems development.

* Team player attitude with willingness to lead and motivate when necessary.

Excellent benefits including a training budget and support package. Some travel may be required on occasion for customer meetings or product testing/launches, for which expenses will be covered.
