Java Developer
Avanti recruitment are currently working with a company based in Blackburn who are looking for a Mid-Senior Level Java Developer.
You will be someone who works well in a team and can also work on your own. The company work with some of the UK's biggest brands in the food industry such as Hovis and Warburtons.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include working across the full SDLC and helping with the migration from Java 6 to Java 11. You will also play a crucial role in helping them migrate to cloud. You'll be heavily involved in the technical direction of the company and play a vital role in helping with the road map.
If you currently use a technology, you feel could be useful to the company and can explain why then they are happy to bring new technologies into the company.
Skills required:
* Excellent Java experience
* SQL Database
Desirable:
* AWS
* Java 11
* Javascript / Angular / React or C# experience
* Hibernate
* Maven
The salary on offer for this position is up to GBP45,000 + Flexible working hours + 26 days holiday.
