We are seeking SENIOR CARE ASSISTANTS to work DAY SHIFTS in a care home for the elderly just outside of Lewes, in the village of Ringmer.

DAY SHIFTS
Ringmer, Lewes, East Sussex, BN8
Day Shifts 8am-8pm
GBP10.20 - GBP10.50 p/h for weekdays
GBP11.20 - GBP11.50 p/h for weekends
Transport Options available within a 10 mile radius for remote location
We regularly Covid test all our residents and staffAs a Senior Care Assistant you'll help residents enjoy each day by making sure they get the quality care and support they deserve. Responsible for supporting our team of care assistants who will be caring for our elderly residents with daily living, providing support and companionship, assisting with their physical and personal needs - where every day is different and rewarding!

To join us as a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you'll need:

Previous experience working with older people in residential care.
You will need to be flexible, patient, caring, organised and great with people.
You will have strong communication skills both verbally and in writing
Completed your City and Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Care (or equivalent).
If you don't have it already, you'll need to be willing to work towards your City and Guilds Level 3 in Adult Care, which we will assist you with.
You'll also need to be flexible to work shifts on a rota basis.You will work part of a great team and be making a difference to our residents by providing excellent care standards, taking pride in treating our residents as individuals.

The care home is in Ringmer, a pretty village just a few miles from the bustling town of Lewes in East Sussex. It's only half an hour from the seaside towns of Brighton and Eastbourne.

All of the 62 rooms are individually-styled and have an en-suite wet room. The care home has its own cinema, bistro caf?? and hair salon too. Regular day trips are arranged - to wherever the residents fancy - to the seaside or for a browse around the shops.
