Ulverston - Cumbria
Salary - Up to GBP45K
Are you an experienced warehouse or logistics/warehouse Manager looking for a great new role? Do you like motivating your team to do well and enjoy improving systems and processes?
We are delighted to be recruiting for a Warehouse Manager to join our established company. You will be an experienced Manager who is looking for their next busy challenge near to Ulveston and Barrow in Furness, Cumbria.
Job role
To ensure all the raw materials and finished goods warehouses have the necessary resources to support current and projected growth so that the highest level of customer service through stock availability and service are achieved and, profitable sales are met.
Key Responsibilities;
Oversee the overall management of the 2 warehouses
Motivate your teams and support internal and external customers
Develop plans for the ongoing strategy of the warehouse
Reduce costs and increase efficiency wherever possible
Review contracts with haulage
To ensure compliance in each department
Work to continuous Improvement
What we would like to see from you;
Track record of improving warehouse operations
Any experience with manufacturing or FMCG would be great
Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods
Fantastic written and oral skills
Proven negotiation skills
Able to carry on appraisals with staff
