As an experienced Support Worker, you could be making a difference every day in your new role as Support and Training co-Ordinator, where you can bring out the skills, strengths, abilities and aspirations of those you are working with to start the journey of getting back on their feet to independent living.

Your role as Support & Training Co-Ordinator will help bring out the skills, aspirations, strengths and abilities and to make the positive changes needed for our residents to prepare for sustained independent living.
To be successful in this role you can bring to the fore your previous experience of working with Adults with diverse needs and experiences within a residential setting. Empathy and understanding is key but also being confident and used to taking on and resolving difficult and often sensitive issues is too.
A key part of this role is training & developing skills through personal and professional development training in all areas of house management and in particular around budgeting, developing and cooking nutritionally balanced menus for the daily communal meal. Skills that can potentially open opportunities within the catering and hospitality sectors and so catering and budget management experience is a must too. The role is Monday to Friday but also needs the flexibility of being able to sometimes work or attend outside of those hours but flexibility is a two way thing and works on both sides.

You may also have a wider variety of work and voluntary experience, including
- Working with the public or within communities providing advice, care and support services, perhaps even holding an IAG qualification
