We are seeking a good all round administrator who has excellent customer service skills to support us in HR. If you like helping others, have strong admin skills with great attention to detail, a 'can do' attitude and available immediately then this could be the job for you! This role is based at our Head Office at the Birmingham Business Park so is really easy to get to due to the great transport links!
The Role
The HR Administrator will be working as part of a small team providing pro-active, high quality, customer focused, GDPR compliant HR admin resource to our organisation, having specific focus on the management of attendance. You'll be a first point of contact for all HR admin queries whilst ensuring they are resolved or escalated to the appropriate person in line with Company Policy.
Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will also liaise with our Benefits providers to understand the enrolment/terms so that you can then provide information to both Employees and Managers to promote usage and understanding of our Benefits.

About You
We are looking for someone with brilliant administration skills, and a passion for delivering great customer service - it isn't essential that you have knowledge or previous experience within HR, your experience may have been gained in another role where customer service is key.
Good attention to detail is a must, as you will be required to create, issue and follow through to full completion offer letters and contracts for new employees, as well as make accurate changes to terms and conditions of employment, and ensure that all the correct processes are followed for people leaving the business. You will also help to manage the HR Admin inbox, responding to routine and ad hoc queries from employees and line managers as required.
The key skills and experience needed for this role are:
* Fantastic administration skills, with an eye for detail and a passion to get things right the first time.
* First class customer service skills, with an understanding of how your work fits into the bigger picture
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the confidence to communicate with people at all levels, from front line employees to directors.
* Practical working knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
* Working knowledge of HR systems or similar systems used to hold and maintain large amounts of data would be beneficial.
* Previous experience dealing with personal information and data protection (GDPR) would also be advantageous.
* A good standard of education in Maths and English (ideally GCSE grade A-C in both).

Salary & Benefits
The hours of work are 08:30 - 17:00, with a 60 minute lunch break and you will receive a basic salary of GBP18,000 - GBP20,000 (depending on experience).
