Starting on GBP8.91 per hour

Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Our client is one of the UK's leading suppliers in their field. They are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Administration Assistant into their HR Department. The client is based in a rural location and access to your own transport is essential. They really like to look after their staff and most of the team have exceptionally long service.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:

* To provide the overall day to day general administration support including inbound and outbound calls

* Typing letters and other word processing duties such as memos, report writing

* Photocopying, filing, and data entry

* Producing and monitoring Starter and leaver documentation

* Producing and monitoring paperwork for changes to Terms and Conditions of employment

* Cleansing and maintaining both electronic and hard copy employee files

* Note taking as and when required

* Assisting with the administration of policies and procedures

* Updating and maintaining Personnel data base

* Processing and monitoring subject access requests

* Requesting and monitoring references

* Requesting and monitoring right to work credentials

* Notifying payroll of all relevant information and requests in a timely and accurate manner

* Liaising with the team to ensure clarity, efficiency, and accuracy

* Various project work as required

* Running specified reports for the Personnel team as and when required

* Effective time management to ensure tasks are delivered in a timely manner

* Ongoing training (internal & external) to fully support the role

* Occasionally provide wider office support, as may be required to support smooth administration

* To maintain the confidential nature of the business

Skills and Experience

To be considered for the position you will have previous administration experience and excellent attention to detail. This role would suit someone looking to get a foot in the door within a HR department. Due to the company location you must have your own transport.
