SALARY: GBP9.25 per hour
WORKING HOURS: Monday - Friday (39 hours per week)
We are currently working with the market leaders in the manufacture and supply of furniture and soft furnishings to a number of leading high street retailers and into the caravan and leisure industry. They are now looking to hire a General Operative to join the team on a permanent basis. You will be willing to learn new skills. You will be part of a great team working in a team environment.
You will be trained to do the following:
Accurately cutting fabrics using a Gerber Machine for the bedding department, and understanding incoming orders (I/OS)
Understanding CAD information
Report any issues immediately to the supervisor
Assist with any other tasks as required
Ensure all aspects of required health and safety protocol are used
Able to work in a team and to tight deadlines
What do you need?
Experience within a similar role would be an advantage but full training will be provided
Willing to move around heavy items around the warehouse
Hard working and able to work well within a team
