An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Administrator to join our busy Programme Management Office on a 3-month Fixed Term Contract basis.

You'll be working in a part of Telent that is dedicated to transforming the way support is delivered nationwide to Openreach and other communication providers, including Gigaclear. We aim to be the UK's leading network installation business, harnessing and enhancing the skills of our people to deliver high quality cost effective services

You'll receive formal training - and on-the-job training where appropriate - to ensure you're up-skilled as technology develops along with E-learning schemes to help or refresh skills on-line.

In these extraordinary times of the coronavirus outbreak Telent is continuing to Recruit. We provide services to customers which are integral to providing mission critical systems and infrastructure across the UK and Ireland and we need to continue to deliver those services.

To help limit the amount of face to face contact during the recruitment process, we will now do more online assessments and use Skype/Conf Calls for interviews wherever possible.

Role Profile:

Reporting into the Programme Office Manager, you will be part of a collaborative team working to ensure that the orders are accurate, complete and then correctly prepared for execution before being submitted to our field engineers who carry out the work.

Responsibilities:

Follow the order validation process through to completion, querying and cancelling orders that are incorrectly planned as and where necessary in accordance with Process.
Work with BT planners in order to build a job safe and fit for purpose.
Follow the Safe Dig process, obtaining utility prints from various 3rd party sources and websites.Skills:

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills.
A good understanding of Microsoft Office packages.
A team player with the ability to work on their own initiative.
Previous experience within an administration role would be advantageous.Excellent employee benefits:
