Industrial Lab Assistant

Exciting opportunity for a school leaver seeking an opportunity to develop a career within the Industrial Sector

The role requires an eagerness to learn and progress within a fast paced factory environment

Duties

* Conduct routine analytical testing

* Prepare sample orders

* Maintain quality control checks

* Interpret test results

* Responsible for laboratory equipment routine maintenance

* Responsible for disposal of waste chemicals

* Assist Research Scientist in product testing ??? Work with Factory Manager and Chemical Mixer to ensure products are made within required standards

* Maintain good laboratory housekeeping practices

* Wash laboratory beakers/glassware.

* Print product labels as and when required

* Routine laboratory administration maintenance

Person Spec

* Educated to A level or equivalent in Chemistry or Combined Sciences

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to use own initiative to meet deadlines

* Accurate eye for detail

* Excellent IT skills

* Flexible approach towards working duties
