Office angels are currently recruiting for a Medical Receptionist based in Bracknell
Role: Medical Receptionist
Location: Bracknell
Pay rate: GBP9 - GBP9.50 p/h (DOE)
Days required: Monday - Friday 8am- 12pm
Start date: ASAP
Duration: minimum of 3 months
Duties may include but are not limited to:
Greeting and booking in or patients for surgeries and clinics
Dealing with patient enquiries efficiently and courteously.
Making appointments on system
Dealing with all telephone queries/requests from patients and acting as liaison with the Doctors/Nurses as necessary.
Pulling and filing medical records as necessary.
Processing repeat prescriptions and filing for collection
Advising patients of relevant charges for private service
Tidying waiting room after surgery, ensuring premises are kept tidy between visits from the cleaning staff, tidy and sort magazines and leaflets, discarding old and damaged items as necessary.
Provide administrative support for clinical staff.
Filing patient records and correspondence when necessary.
Photocopying of notes and other informationThe ideal candidate will have:
Valid DBS check is essential
Previous experience within a similar role
Strong communication skills
able to multi-task, prioritise and schedule tasks and activities
attention to detail - able to produce accurate and high-quality work through concern for all areas involved
customer service skills
confidentiality - able to maintain confidentiality
