What you will be doing:
The role of the Customer Services Water Quality Scientist is to coordinate and liaise with our customers to process lead pipe replacement applications. Typically, we receive around 300 applications a month and there are a variety of channels which our customers contact us on such as email and telephone, so good communication is key to delivering excellent customer service.

Working in our Customer Service Water Quality team you will be working with like-minded people who really want to make a difference to our customers. We are committed to giving you great training and will make sure you are confident in helping customers.
The role is a 6 months temporary position and there is a possibility that the role will change to a permanent position in the future.

- Processing applications
- Communicating with our customers to support with complaints
- Co-ordinating fieldwork to ensure timely replacement of lead communications pipes
- Working with internal stakeholders to identify process updates
- Supporting the wider Customer Services Water Quality team with the investigation of other water quality complaints
- Take Ownership of customer queries, being curious to fully understand the query and identify the best solution to resolve it the first time
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, to clearly interact with our customers
- Deliver exceptional customer service through an enthusiastic and positive approach, taking accountability for your role while working accurately and flexibly within a busy team
- Have a great eye for detail by making the time to check for the accuracy of the information you are processing and that we are recording our customer's details correctly
