We are looking for experienced Front of house bar staff to work in a busy award-winning bistro based in Clacton On Sea. You must have excellent customer service skills, be very friendly and approachable.
You will be serving drinks, taking orders to tables and making cocktails. Clearing glassware and crockery from each table once guests have completed their meals/drinks, or upon request. Assisting with the preparation of and the serving of all meals and beverages to customers. Ensuring that the kitchen and serving area are clean and tidy. Ensuring Health and Safety regulations are followed. Control stock; reduce waste and drive efficiency and ensuring direct reports are complying.
Setting up and clearing down after service. Ensure the smooth day to day running of all bar sales/food operations as determined by law. Responsible for the bar cash float, all cash taken, credit card transactions, charging guest's room accounts from the sale of bar products.
To be aware of all relevant emergency and evacuation procedures. Ensuring customer requests are dealt with promptly and efficiently. Provide a level of service that exceeds customer expectations. Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and quality in the restaurant and bar at all times. Ensure total guest satisfaction is achieved
The hours are full time including weekends.
The hourly rate is GBP9.00 per hour and overtime is available
