ITS Group are a leading Construction Recruitment Specialist supplying peolpe to construction clients for over 45 years.
On behalf of our flagship client we are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in their Exeter office on a permanant basis. Our client is a market leading nationwide housebuilder.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of JCT and bespoke contracts and have experience of successfully delivering affordable housing schemes. You will have worked in a similar role for a leading main contractor or developer
Key responsibilities include control & monitor commercial processess, deliver objectives & targets of the contract team, ensure compliance and manage payment processes for sub-contractors, pricing & agreeing variations, prepare and manage key sub-contract accounts, oversee contract documentation, prepare monthly reports for presentation to the business, ensure H&S standards, knowlegde of NHBC practices and familiar with COINS
You will need to be a strong team player, expereince in a similar role, demonstarte strong account management, well developed reporting and communication skills, preferrably degree qualified, professional membership of MCIOB or RICS preferable.
