Do you enjoy refactoring and redesigning code? Maybe you have keen eye for suggesting new architectural approaches too???
Well, we've been working with a business in Worksop for the last 3 years now, whose core application is WPF (MVVM C#) desktop based, using plenty of SQL and .NET. They're busier than ever and are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join them.
They've restructured their development teams recently, allowing them to look at different technologies and possibly transitioning to web sooner rather than later - they've already got some areas in web which are written in .NET Core, which will probably be the tech they use moving forward.
You'll be working within a hands-on capacity, helping them on this journey towards web and improving their products, whilst passing on your experience to Junior members of the team at the same time.
Don't worry, you wouldn't need WPF experience, you'll be joining an established team of 17 people, which means you'll have a strong team around you to help get you up to speed.
They've always had a WFH culture, meaning when their office reopens, you'd still be able to spend half the week working from home and benefiting from their really flexible hours.
For now, I see the roles paying up to GBP55,000.
