Austin Fraser has the pleasure of appointing a Java Developer for a company who are at the forefront of their domain and have some exciting growth plans to meet the internal need for the latest IT offering.
They are also going on a 5-year digital transformation journey.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to be at the forefront of some challenging yet rewarding development plans and be the authority within Java development and architecture and soon Mobile development.
They have been established for a number of years and specialise in what they do and provide.
They have a market share by successful bespoke work for all their clients and due an increase in client base through organic growth and new business they are looking to appoint a new addition to their highly skilled team.
Key responsibilities of this role are to;
* Promote development best practices through the organisation
* operate a clean development function and deliver to deadlines
* Ensure projects are designed within approved enterprise architectural standards
* Hands-on development of large scale, high throughput Java solutions across full life cycle using agile methods and iterative delivery of business value
* Interpretation of business requirements to design and develop solutions with a high degree of technical excellence
You will exposure to the following technologies;
* Java
* SQL Technologies
* Groovy + MVC
*Please note that exposure to all of these skills is NOT essential as there is a large team to enable solid training*
