Are you seeking a new, exciting opportunity with a local authority that have recently completed a transformation project?
We are delighted to be exclusively partnering with Redditch Borough Council to recruit for their new Housing Management vacancies. Your purpose as an Income Officer will be to support service users in meeting their rental obligations.
As an Income Officer, your duties will be to:
* Primarily orientated towards collection of all housing revenue and recovery of all housing related debts including former tenants arrears, recharges and leaseholder debt
* Support the Housing Revenue Manager in delivering the vision and initiatives for the Housing Revenue team, of which you are an integral part of
* Ensure that your work achieves homeless prevention and reduction of all debt, maximised collection rates and mitigates the image of welfare reforms
* Coordinate and undertake the timely preparation of all court documents as the role includes representation at court
