Established for over 40 years, this well established and successful business specialize in the design and development of equipment for the installation, protection and management of utility and infrastructure networks.
They have an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join their busy finance team in South Bristol.
The Management Accountant will be responsible for the preparation of Management Accounts and Management information for a US based entity.
Job Description:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations
- Liaise and support overseas entity finance team
- Completion of statutory accounts and government requirements
- Weekly KPI reporting and Cashflow forecasting
- Participate in the preparation of annual budgets and capital expenditure plans
- Involvement in inventory control and stock count attendance
- Expense Approvals
- Completion of key reports to company Directors
- Management of Finance Pack for monthly reporting and annual budget
Key Skills/Experience required:
- Demonstrable accounting and finance experience
- Fully qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA)
- Sound knowledge of finance computer systems, experience with Hyperion, IFS or similar integrated accounts systems would be beneficial
- Knowledge of SOX would be beneficial, although training will be provided
- Detailed knowledge of Excel and Windows Software
- Flexible approach with hands on attitude to tasks
- Good organisation and problem-solving skills
