Parts Van Delivery Driver and Salesperson needed near Ely, Cambridgeshire.

About Our Client
The business is a large-sized UK main dealer group that offers bespoke service for several high-profile customers across East Anglia and the South East.
Role Purpose:
Reporting to the Parts & Showroom Manager, you will be selling a wide range of products from Agricultural and Groundcare machinery parts through to general hardware goods. Your role will involve selling to our already established customer base, as well as reaching out to new customers to encourage sales and promote new business developments. A company vehicle will be provided to collect parts and deliver to various locations, alongside taking orders from customers, promoting special offers, and general parts deliveries.
Essential Skills/Experience:
Driven by sales targets and the need to succeed
Excellent communication skills face to face and over the phone
Be organized and have the ability to multitask efficiently as required
Ability to communicate to all levels of the business both internally and externally (with manufacturers, suppliers and customers)
Accuracy with numbers and handling of cash and card payments
A technical knowledge of machines and their uses would be advantageous but not essential
Ability to manage customer expectations and deal diplomatically with customers during busy periods
Providing quotations and estimates to customers who require a large order of goods, or who are requiring information for an insurance claim to replace stolen goods
Attention to detail
Full, clean driving licence
What's on offer:
Hours: 42.5 hours per week - 8am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday (1 hour lunch break)
Saturdays as per rota and additional hours as required which may include weekends as per rota especially during peak periods e.g Harvest
Salary: Competitive and depending on Parts Sales experience, plus Company Vehicle and commission.
Benefits: 24 Days Annual Leave (plus bank holiday), Company Sick Pay Scheme, Workplace pension, Staff Discount in Country Stores and Death in Service Cover (2 x salary)
