OUR CLIENT
We are acting on behalf of one of the UK's largest and most well established full-service digital agencies. They take a comprehensive approach to digital marketing, with specialisms covering SEO, paid media (PPC & display), digital PR, CRO and content marketing, supporting both vertical and horizontal markets, so lots of variety and opportunity for further growth. They are a multiple award winner with an excellent client portfolio, and more importantly a company that has invested in providing an excellent working environment for its employees.
CANDIDATE AND ROLE BRIEF
As a result of our client's continued growth, we are now searching for an Account Manager with a proven track record, who has a genuine interest in the world of digital marketing.
Our ideal candidate at this stage in their career will be someone for whom immediate rapport building is done quickly and effectively, by establishing and maintaining strong business relationships. You will be someone who has demonstrable experience of proactively retaining and developing client portfolios and you will have to date succeeded in a competitive and dynamic environment by delivering beyond the minimum requirements.
Experience within the digital marketing industry would be beneficial, as well as having worked in an agency environment, although this is not essential. Our client is searching for an exceptional account manager with the necessary skills to quickly learn and apply themselves.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and retaining your portfolio of clients as well as identifying additional revenue streams to increase the order value from each client.
- Contributing to client strategies by Introducing additional products/services to your clients.
- Developing strong relationships and interacting closely with various departments.
- Manage internal and external stakeholder's expectations.
- Compiling monthly SEO performance reports.
- Travel to meet clients will occasionally be required.
Essential skills and experience:
- 2+ years of demonstrable experience in managing commercial accounts with varying portfolio size.
- An understanding of digital marketing.
- Are articulate with strong spoken and written English skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Are IT literate with knowledge of the Microsoft suite.
- Are organised, with the ability to multi-task and manage documentation.
- Are able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, using high levels of initiative to deliver results and achieve deadlines to the required standard.
- Strives to exceed KPIs and hit targets.
