Yard Operative

Our client is an exciting and expanding company based in Enstone. They are leading haulage company who specialise in the distribution of the their product. Due to expansion, they are now looking to hire a highly capable and reliable Yard Operative to become part of their team. This is an exciting opportunity, with a fantastic benefits package and opportunity to grow with a new company. The right person could also have the opportunity to progress within the company.

Main responsibilities:

• Picking, checking, and packing orders in a timely manner.
• Moving and recording of stock deliveries.
• Loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Forklift operation.
• Stock taking when required.
• Working to agreed targets and timescales

Key Skills & Experience:

Essential:

• Ability to communicate politely and effectively with a variety of people internally and externally.
• Accurate numerical skill and good literary skill.
• Analytical and logical problem solving.
• Be ambitious and goal orientated.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• An enthusiastic and energetic "can-do" nature.

Desirable:

• Experience in a manufacturing role
• Forklift License
