The Lanes Group needs an experienced Health Safety & Environmental Advisor to join our growing Health & Safety division.

About the Role:

The Regional Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor role will involve conducting audits and inspections of Lanes Group sites across the UK including ensuring all fire, security, environmental procedures are in place.

You will provide information and instruction to staff and also produce reports, you will review and conduct investigations relating to health safety environmental and security issues.

You will assist the HSEQ Manager in writing and reviewing procedures, in relation to the HSEQ management systems and also assist in the completion of health, safety and environmental assessments, providing support and advice to ensure all sites are compliant.

The role involves frequent travelling across the regions of the UK and your base depot would be relative to the home location of successful candidate.

About You:

To be considered for this role you will hold a NEBOSH certificate (willing to work towards NEBOSH diploma) and have experience and knowledge of health, safety, environmental and quality. IT literate, especially with Microsoft Word and Excel, you will have good communication skills and be able to interact with customers and clients either online, face to face or by telephone.

You will also be able to travel around the UK, including periods of overnight stays. Experience with SHE assure or equivalent software would also be desirable.

You should have some experience of the following: Health and Safety law Environmental Law, CDM, waste management, Audits, Inspections, Risk/COSHH Assessments method statements and, ISO standards 9001, 14001, 45001 etc.
