Senior / Semi Senior Accountant is required by a well-respected Accountancy Firm based in Sutton in Ashfield.
You will be a Senior or Semi Accountant with substantial experience. This is an exciting opportunity for an Accounts senior looking for excellent career prospects; allowing you to build upon your experience as part of a modern and dynamic team.
Role Overview:
Main responsibilities will include:
* Directly dealing with clients on a regular basis.
* The ability to produce accounts and have knowledge of bookkeeping and VAT and a brief knowledge of taxation.
* Some supervision and reviewing of other work done by other staff will be required.
Person Specification:
* Opportunity available for an AAT qualified or partly qualified candidate.
* It is essential that candidates have had practice experience.
* Time management, organisational and communication skills are a necessity.
* Experience in managing a portfolio of clients.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Effective communication skills, both spoken and written.
* A positive and proactive approach.
* A pragmatic approach to resolving situations, using own initiative where appropriate.
* Advanced MS Office skills (specifically Word, Excel).
* Experience with accounting packages such as Sage, Xero, Quickbooks, Kashflow.
* Excellent client service skills.
