Join our team and put the colour back into the childhood of children in Scotland.

To do this, we need to raise as much funds as possible.  It’s an exciting time for fundraising at Children 1st and full of opportunities for the right person.In 2019 we launched our new fundraising strategy which is designed to inspire people in Scotland to put children first. Since then, despite the pandemic, we’ve successfully grown our income. 

This post will play a key part within the Public Fundraising Team. Inspiring new and existing donors will be at the heart of what this role will do and allow the team to do.  By supporting the Community, Individual Giving and Legacy fundraisers, you will be central to the success we can achieve.  You will also have the opportunity to lead on your own fundraising activity.

Being able to develop excellent working relationships with supporters and colleagues across the organisation to assist with meeting fundraising objectives.

In return you will be offered a competitive salary, 40 days annual leave inclusive of 9 days public holidays, a contributory pension scheme and generous maternity/adoption and paternity leave benefits.

This is a permanent, full-time role of 35 hours per week. Based flexibly throughout Scotland, preferably in the central belt and will mainly work from home.  The role will require frequent travel across Scotland.
