An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading utilities supplier as a Project Controller and Reporting Specialists based in Slough. This a full-time temporary ongoing contract with an opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate, working 37 hours per week between 8.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday paying GBP40,000 pro rata depending on experience (GBP20.79 per hour), this role is currently working remotely but could become office based.

You will manage performance against the Network Asset Management Plan and associated Business Plan. Ensuring the Network Asset Management Plan and individual programmes satisfy their regulatory outputs. You will be expected to manage programme risks and opportunities; support the development of outperformance and/or recovery plans; and delivery of these plans. You will be responsible for preparing the required MI for Network or Central governance. You will also be expected to lead certain aspects of regulatory reporting activities; ensuring data quality and timeliness.


Managing the performance against the Network Asset Management Plan and associated Business Plan, monitoring performance against regulatory outputs
Ensuring the individual programme of works align with the Network Asset Management Plan and deliver in accordance with required regulations and standards
Developing programme change control practices to ensure effective management of the Network Asset Management Plan and associated programme of works
Developing performance reporting measures to enable effective monitoring of performance
Managing risks and opportunities to programme delivery; ensuring these are effectively communicated and addressed
Producing both Network and central governance reports and narratives on investment performance
Identifying and resolving data issues to ensure data quality and accuracy for reporting / decision making
Supporting regulatory reporting activities (investment activities)
Working collaboratively with the Construction Management Organisation to share / learn
Implementing improvement initiatives to support data accuracy and qualitySkills and Experience

Valid UK driving license (for training reasons, once back in the office)
Programme management and controls experience
Experience of managing multiple programmes
Experience of managing relationships with contractor organisations
Understanding of processes and systems
Understanding of commercial and regulatory background
Understanding of relevant policy, regulations and standards
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of gaining support / commitment from a wide operational group
Able to interpret complex technical information and data to construct effective solutions
Membership of professional institution relevant to the role, ideally to Chartered Status
