Network Engineer-Perm role

Location- Woking based

Travel to Central London Office when required.

-As the Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the monitoring and management of the company's Global LAN and WAN network.

-Identify improvements to services and improve the quality of network infrastructure systems and processes.

• 5+ Years working within a NOC or other Managed Service Environment.
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as prtg or solarwinds.
• Azure Networking experience.
• ITIL v3 Foundation
• High level of network troubleshooting & basic server administration.
• In depth Firewall knowledge (we use Cisco ASA).
• IPV4, IPv6, mobile VPN and IPSEC tunneling
• HTTPS
• WIFI to include large public communications network
• Cisco technology to include sswitches, catalyst, Routers, Firewalls (predominately Cisco ASA)
• Meraki wireless solutions
• Citrix to include netscalers
• Virtualisation including VMware and Azure/AWS
• Good understanding of encryption methods, modern cipher suites and protocols
• PKI implementation
• Understanding of system hardening and enforced blocking of Legacy communication methods
• Experience from having worked in a global environment is desirable.
• Certification (current CCNP R&S, CCNA/NP Security alongside equivalent practical experience)
• Experience at network hardening and IT Security incident management.
• Ability to interface with 3rd party vendors and challenge or validate design proposals.
