A quick look at the role.

The HR Coordinator supports the HR Business Partner and the Manchester Contract in the coordination of HR projects and processes in particular absence management, employee engagement and disciplinary/grievance meetings. You will also be responsible for generating reports and statistical data to support the function.

  • Contributes to the delivery of any HR related projects, ensuring all documents are maintained and stakeholders are communicated to in an appropriate fashion.
  • Assists with the introduction of any new employee processes and the maintenance associated with any current process/procedure.
  • Supports the Business Managers and Operations Managers by taking accurate minutes in disciplinary/grievance and welfare meetings
  • Maintains data cleanse changes within the HR system, where applicable.
  • Prepares accurate and suitable MI reports for the HRBP and those managing people for well-informed people decisions to be made.
  • Processes occupational health referrals via the portal and provides regular updates on status of LTS employees
  • Provide weekly updates on Biffa Beat sign up to BMs


Requirements

  • Ideally working towards a CIPD qualification
  • Experience of high level administration within a large organisation
  • Previous experience working with HR database systems to produce reports
  • Project management experience
  • Basic understanding of employee related legislation
  • Organised, methodical and detail-conscious
  • Able to produce high quality written correspondence and reports
  • IT literate, with ability to use MS Office software, to competent-user standard (e.g. Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Personable with well-developed inter-personal skills
  • Resilient with the ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly
  • Comfortable travelling to sites across Greater Manchester
