Night Care Team Leader
A lovely role for a Night Care Team Leader has become available in well-maintained and luxurious residential and nursing home in North West London, with easy access and good transport links. Your role is to assist and support the residents with their nightly needs. The role is for 42 hours per week with shifts running 7pm to 8am. The home has strong infection control measures in place to protect against Covid-19
As a Night Care assistant, you will be required to:
Organising staff allocations and breaks
Arranging cover for absences
Liaising with home managers
Dealing with external agencies or visiting professionals (GP etc.)
Administering medication
Support the residents in all aspects of their nightly living
Administer personal care and assist with toileting and feeding
Hourly checks to ensure residents are comfortable
Update the nightly care records
Engage sensitively with residents
Deliver high-quality person-centred care
Our ideal Night Care Team Leader will have
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Recent experience in care during the time of COVID-19
Experience working with the elderly ideally within the context of a nursing or residential care home
A compassionate and calm nature is essential for this post
Flexibility to commit to shifts from 7pm to 8am over a 7-day period (2-week rota)
