Advice Service Supervisor

We have the following vacancy based in the East Riding:
Advice Service Supervisor – Generalist advice at Bridlington and Beverley office
Ref: 2021/06/ASS
37 hours per week – fixed term until 31st March 2022 (possibility of extension, dependant on funding)

Salary £25,748 per annum
The advice service supervisor role involves working with colleagues to manage the day to day delivery and quality of a busy service. You will supervise a large and diverse team of paid and volunteer advisers, admin and receptionists to ensure we provide a high quality customer service. In this role you will support advisers to offer advice via varied service channels including face to face drop in, telephone, outreach, video, and digital.
In addition to the requisite advice knowledge, we are looking for commitment, enthusiasm, flexibility and good time management skills.
It will be desirable for the applicant to have previous experience of managing a team of volunteers as well as working in an advice setting but is not essential.
Bridlington and Beverley will be your designated place of work. However, in light of the Covid19 restrictions, there may be times where you are requested to work remotely from home. You must be able to work remotely in a confidential space at home.
