People matter here at Platform - We are looking for a Policy, Procedure and Governance Manager (Development) to join our Programme team within our Growth and Development (Commercial) Directorate to make a difference to people’s lives and our communities, to help move the great work we are already doing here at Platform to the next level.

 

This is a key position in which you will be responsible for the signing and sealing of Development contracts and legal documentation ensuring all information is accurately recorded for the Group’s contract register. 

 

Reporting to the Head of Policy, Procedure, Governance and Rents, you will provide input to strategies, policies and procedures for the Team and wider Group to ensure consistency, efficiency and compliance plus you will support with ensuring the activities of the Development Team comply with internal policies and external requirements.

 

This role will require you to attend our office in Birmingham 2-3 days a week and have a flexible approach to homeworking for the remainder.

You’ll bring - 

A sound knowledge and understanding of social housing providers and the wider environment in which they operate. You’ll have experience of developing policies and procedures and writing board reports, along with working with contracts and legal documentation.

 

You will have previously used a variety of systems to record information accurately e.g. Excel, Sharepoint and will be able to use technology effectively and appreciate how it can benefit an organisation.

 

With a passion for governance and compliance, you will keep up to date with the latest thinking, developments and best practice. 

 

A full driving licence and use of own vehicle is essential for this role.
