About the Role

Are you passionate about delivering the highest possible customer service for residents? Do you have strong social values and want to work somewhere you can make a real difference to people? Then we want to hear from you.

This is a permanent role supporting our Customer Access Team Leader to manage and motivate a busy team, helping to ensure that our residents are at the forefront of service delivery. We are working to build and develop strong empowered communities without poverty or isolation, to ensure that everyone has a decent home in a good place and that everyone has a good living standard and prospects.

An important aspect of this role will be to help identify and develop ideas, to ensure continuous improvement in the way we deliver inclusive, resident focused access to customer services, that result in well managed homes and neighbourhoods. A key part of the role is to lead staff and ensure effective delivery of performance, regulatory and legislative requirements. As the team undertake a number of related service support functions you will need to be adaptable and work with others across the wider organisation.

This role is key in facilitating a joined-up approach to the provision of services for customers, linking in with other teams, services and initiatives.

About you

You will have experience of delivering front line customer services or other relevant experience and be passionate about helping others. A strong communicator, you will remain calm under pressure and be able to use your own initiative to solve problems and support others to provide an excellent customer service.

You will have a commitment to supporting transformational change and service improvement, and a desire to identify and learn from good practice across the housing sector and beyond.

You will understand the role of social housing and be committed to ensuring residents and potential residents have fair access to a safe and secure home.
