We are currently recruiting on behalf of a key client within the FMCG sector. They are currently looking for a Customer Service Assistant who has industry knowledge or relevant experience to the job. If this is, you then please apply!
Job Description
Specific responsibilities
* Answer all incoming calls and direct calls or take messages for the relevant departments.
* Answer basic sales questions regarding stock and pricing
* Assist with initial service calls and advise to go to the website where possible
* Be the front of house company assistant on the telephone
* Assist the Sales admin with customers deliveries and transport queries
* Assist with data processing (Order wise uploads on Excel)
* General office admin and ad hoc duties
* Assist with the company social media and marketing strategy
Person Specification
* GCSE Grade C or above in English Language and Mathematics
* Administrative IT skills: Including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
* Excellent problem-solving skills - ability to think quickly
* Work well under pressure
* Must have enthusiasm to learn new skills with a can-do attitude
* Ability to work independently whilst also collectively as a team member
* At least 3 years' experience in a similar role.
* Experience in our industry or similar.
