Job Family: Support WorkerLocation: Clacton-on-Sea, EssexPay Rate (GBP): up to GBP10.05 per hour Vacancy Reference: 027627 Role: Support WorkerLocation: Clacton, EssexPay Rate: up to GBP10.05 per hour Shifts - 7:00am - 2:30pm and 2:30pm - 10:00pmAbout the Role:This is our supported living service in Clacton where we will be supporting one individual with specialist behavioural support needs, learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that challenge on a 2:1 basis.As a superhero "Support Worker" you will deliver intense support with all aspects of everyday living to encourage their independence and support them to lead the most fulfilling life possible, incorporating both therapy and social based activities. You must be resilient flexible and composed in your approach as this will be a challenging environment to work in, although equally rewarding. You will understand the importance of reflective practice and be involved in de-briefs and incident analysis to ensure the best possible outcomes for the individual.Requirements: Due to the needs of the individual you will be supporting you will have previous experience in supporting people with autism and challenging behaviour. Although this role is predominantly based in 1 service in Clacton, occasional work at our other supported living settings in Clacton area may be required so you must be happy to travel to other local services. COVID19 safety is important to us all, we support our staff and the people we support to stay safe by wearing correct PPE, including Type IIR Fluid Resistant Surgical Masks (FRSM), aprons and gloves at all times. We have a in-house team that ensures that all of our services have plenty of PPE at all times. All care and support is carried out following the latest Government guidance.
