Our client is the UK's leading living wall company, with projects across the country. Working with some well-known brands such as Facebook, Nando's, Jaguar and Porsche, they construct and maintain living walls that help improve air quality, biodiversity, and well-being.
Due to continued growth, we are currently recruiting for someone to join their front-line maintenance team. You will be travelling throughout the Midlands and North of England, maintaining our clients living walls - both external and internal.
This is a hands-on customer-centric position. Candidates will need to flexible, physically fit, hard-working and have a strong can-do attitude. This is an exciting position for someone with a horticultural background who is looking for a new role that is interesting, varied, and part of a busy, rapidly growing team.
You will need a full UK driving license. Staying away from home overnight may also be required occasionally.
Duties to include:
* Irrigation calibration
* Plant pruning and replacement
* Treatment of pests and diseases
Requirements:
* Comfortable working at heights is a must (the living walls can be up to 30m high).
* Full UK driving license essential
* The ability to stay away from home overnight if required
* Hard-working
* The ability to work to strict deadlines
* A can-do attitude
* Horticultural experience is essential
* IPAF, PASMA, PA1 and PA6 certification is advantageous, but full training can be provided
