To support the Trust IT Support Partner(s) in providing a comprehensive and responsive technical ICT support service for all schools. To assist in maintaining an ICT infrastructure that is secure, reliable, robust, and resilient and supports all aspects of teaching and learning, along with operational and administrative support, across each school and department within the Academies Trust.
To provide technical expertise to identify and resolve ICT issues.
To provide technical input and support for ICT projects across the school, including setup work for academies joining the Trust's infrastructure.
To work collaboratively with all staff and parents/carers to support student well-being and promote the values of the Trust and each school.
As the ICT Junior Technician your role will involve the following important duties:
Provide day to day technical support for the trusts central network
Report all incidents, faults, and log appropriately.
Maintain regular communication with support partners
Hardware, and back up checks.
Support all users in developing ICT skills assisting staff and students.
Monitoring safe use of the ICT systems in line with various policies.
Supporting the technical IT Manager
The experience required...
Good interpersonal skills working as a team member and independently.
Exceptional customer service.
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Good technical knowledge of modern desktop systems (Windows 7 & Windows 10)
General understanding of server backups
Understanding of Windows OS, Office 365.
Experience of Ipad management.
A recognised IT qualification or working towards one.

Salary: GBP10.50PH
Location: - Bedford
Type of Contract: Temporary - Immediate start until the 31st August 2021
Hours - Full Time 9-5.30pm
This role would suit a Junior Technician or a Junior working towards a qualification.who is part qualified or qualified by experience
