We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic, energetic individuals with experience running
breakfast & afterschool clubs and looking to develop a career in play-worker. Support and
development is provided in client's growing organization The role will focus on supporting a
number of teams and developing leaders for the future.
The reputed kind's club is an experienced multi-setting wrap around childcare provider. They
deliver care for approximately 350 - 400 children per day, at their 12 settings, in and around
Cambridge.
Main Purpose:
* To be responsible for a group of wrap-around (breakfast, afterschool & holiday club) and supporting the day to day playleader and deputy playleader.
* To be a play worker
* To be responsible for the care of all children and ensure that their play opportunities are met
* To make sure that through play the social, emotional, physical and intellectual development of children are met
* To be a role-model, lead and supervise the club staff and volunteer
* Mentor and support staff development at own clubs
* To report any concerns or problems to senior management
Hours of work: 25 hours in term-time (7:30 - 9:00 & 14:30 - 18:00) & upto 40 hours in the
holiday play-schemes (operational).
You must be able to provide us with DBS update or undergo Enhanced DBS check, and be able to provide 2 professional references
