Job description

We have temporary to permanent positions for both full and part time. We also have weekend only work available.

We arrange the collection and drop offs of all employees across Blackburn and Darwen, Accrington, Burnley and surrounding areas. No transport is required and no travel expenses.

Job Description

My client is a family run, friendly, business delivering the highest standard of Cleaning, Property Maintenance and Home Care services to a wide range of clients throughout Lancashire.

We are currently looking to recruit full time and part time Cleaning Supervisors and/or Cleaners. There is opportunities for progression throughout all areas of the business, who meet the essential criteria below:-

Have excellent time keeping skills for early starts (5am pick ups for some teams).
Willing, Enthusiastic, Hardworking and Reliable.
Flexible and available to work as required. (Early starts or late finishes as necessary)
Able to get to pick up points in the local area to join their teams. (Ask for more info if required)
Able to lead and work as part of a team.
Have experience working within the hospitality sector (desirable but not essential)If you are applying for the Driving position you must:

Have a full UK driving licence (have held this for a minimum of 2 years).Benefits:

20 days paid annual leave per year with 8 paid bank holidays. (pro rata).

If you are selected as a driver then you are assigned a company vehicle. All fuel and expenses are paid for by the company. *
Staff meet at pick up points across Blackburn and Darwen and are collected free of charge by our company vehicles

Supervisors:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

?? To ensure a professional approach to Supervisor tasks reflecting the Company ethos at all times.

?? To clean and work as part of the team and to ensure team members are deployed efficiently and are working to their full potential and managing time effectively.

?? To continually train and encourage your team. Ensure that they receive professional feedback to progress their development.

?? To ensure that all team members are up to date in the use of products.

?? To ensure a customer focused approach to all client related issues in line with the company.

?? To take a proactive approach, focusing on solutions, to everyday issues. Seek guidance from admin should you deem it necessary.

?? To ensure that during the course of each day, as per the rota, the supervisor returns to the office and carries out a full hand over with the Admin team.

?? To communicate with other supervisors and line managers, as required or as directed, during each day.

?? To ensure that the supervisor task sheet is managed and all tasks completed as required by Management.

?? To drive/manage the drivers, of the vehicles as required by management ensuring time efficiency between jobs.

?? To ensure that drivers keep the vehicles washed on the exterior. (minimum wash once per week).

?? To ensure that drivers sanitise the vehicles at the end of their working day.

?? To complete and record daily van checks (or ensure that they are done by the driver), reporting any vehicle defects/faults to line manager.

?? To be responsible for the maintenance of the equipment, materials and products, reporting any equipment defects/faults to line manager.

?? To be flexible in the carrying out of daily duties.

?? To ensure staff carry out their tasks in line with Health and Safety procedures.

?? To report any inappropriate behaviour/standards as outlined in the Employee Handbook to line manager.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: GBP8.91 to GBP10.00 per hour (depending on role and experience)
