About us

In April 2021, GreenSquare and Accord Housing Association merged to create a bigger, better, organisation. GreenSquareAccord now provides over 25,000 homes to more than 54,000 people, we deliver over 3 million hours of care to individuals every year and have a geographical reach from Newcastle upon Tyne to Salisbury, Wiltshire. We have a staff team of approx. 4,000 people.

The GreenSquareAccord story is about building better lives. GreenSquareAccord is committed to building more homes and providing more care and support to more people, whilst still delivering the locally-focused services to the people who need them most.

Everything we do comes back to people – whether that’s providing a good quality, safe home, helping someone to live an independent life, addressing social injustice and equality and everything else in between.

Our vision for GreenSquareAccord is to be an organisation where people can enjoy happiness, health and prosperity.

About the role

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst to work within our new Change Delivery team. The Change Delivery team will be at the leading edge of our organisation’s transformation, delivering our roadmap of exciting projects to improve all aspects of our services.

As a Business Analyst you will seek to understand business needs, capabilities and identify solutions to deliver prescribed business outcomes. You will define, manage and control the scope of the solution and identify and manage benefits, risks and opportunities throughout the life cycle of projects. You must be a strong communicator, highly analytical and able to successfully influence stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working with colleagues in the change delivery team and subject matter experts to provide key analytical support, advice and expertise on projects.
  • Ensuring business needs and requirements are understood, documented, delivered and tested in order that technology, process and organisational changes can be deployed and supported effectively.
  • Working directly with the Head of Change Delivery and Business Leads to agree project deliverables and work packages.
  • Responsibility for planning, stakeholder engagement and workshops to enable analysis and documentation to enable effective project delivery.
  • Assuming a key role within the team, applying skills and knowledge to support and drive the change roadmap.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders when reviewing the processes and procedures within teams and departments.
  • Obtaining a robust understanding of internal procedures and processes and how to improve efficiency and reduce cost.

About you

You will be Batchelor’s degree qualified, or equivalent, and preferably hold an IIBA accreditation or real life experience in delivering first class projects.

You will have excellent customer service and analytical skills, and ideally have social housing sector experience, however this is not essential. The ability to plan, organise and successfully execute multiple high quality deliverables in an accurate and timely manner is essential, as is the ability to use your own initiative and influence and persuade others.

Benefits

In support and recognition of our colleagues who will help us deliver our employer strategy, we offer a fantastic benefits package. This includes; annual holiday entitlement (plus statutory bank holidays); a defined contribution pension scheme; trust based flexible working and a Confidential Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).
