Systems Administrator/Devops - Remote

I am looking for a permanent systems administrator to join a remote company, they are software house which feeds into the logistics and supply chain industry. They do have offices in Coventry, Slough and Woking although this role is remote. There will be travel once a month to Slough or Woking for Hardware swap outs.

This role is currently a systems administrator position, that said, there is a clear progression path mapped out to move this position into a devops engineer position. Ideally you will have some experience with Azure but if not you will learn this as well as Docker, Kubernetes and Ansible. If you are looking for a role, where you will learn private, public cloud technologies & devops this is a great place to enhance your skills.

PowerShell experience is essential, writing scripts and if you can code that is a huge bonus which will be hugely attractive to this client. The reason why Powershell is needed, a large part of the clients infrastructure is built on it and there isn't time to train someone up for 6 months with Powershell.

What we're looking for:

• PowerShell Scripting experience
• Strong networking skills (Cisco - HyperV - VMware)
• Virtualisation
• Leadership experience

Salary - Up to GBP55,000
