We have a number of UK based offices and a significant, loyal client base. As our reputation for proficient delivery of complex projects grows stronger, we have a requirement for a Senior EC&I Engineer to our team based at Westlakes.
Senior E, C & I Engineer
Senior electrical and instrumentation engineer with strong design, construction and commissioning experience on electrical infrastructure systems from low voltage up to 11KV. Some electrical operational experience would be beneficial.
Working in a small EC&I team across various Nuclear engineering design projects.
The role requires:-
Nuclear industry experience.
Experienced and innovative team player with the ability to work on own initiative and to take responsibility for the development and supervision of design projects.
Experienced in integrated site wide systems within new build, refurbishment, and decommissioning projects.
A very sound knowledge in a wide range of computer packages to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Database, Outlook and Project.
A very sound knowledge of AutoCAD 2D & 3D (not essential), including a qualification / training course in CAD software.
Sound knowledge in Amtech or a similar electrical software package.
HND Electrical & Electronic Engineering minimum (with substantial experience) or a bachelor honours / master's degree qualification.
MIET or an equivalent body - working towards IENG / CENG minimum.
Experienced with undertaking and being responsible for delivering optioneering studies through to detail design packages for clients.
Security clearance:
Due to the nature of work to be undertaken applicants will be required to meet certain residency criteria in order to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.
