Are you a great storyteller? We work with our customers and communities to change lives, and we're looking for a skilled PR professional to help us tell our story and enhance our brand.
What's the role?
As part of our Communications and Marketing team, you will use your PR skills to help us share our successes and gain recognition for the valuable work we do - from building desperately needed affordable housing to delivering community initiatives and high-quality housing services.
The right candidate will need the ability to develop clear PR plans, taking a strategic approach that ensures we reach our key audiences, including residents and other stakeholders.
You'll work effectively and proactively with colleagues to share their stories and forge relationships with key media contacts. You will demonstrate sound judgment when handling media enquiries, as well as producing press releases and securing opportunities to deliver bespoke material, to gain positive coverage across local and trade press, websites and other media. To showcase our great work, you will help to plan and deliver a rolling programme of PR events and photo opportunities.
You'll also work with other members of the team to help generate engaging content for our website and social media channels, contribute to key publications including our resident newsletter and our annual report, and provide general communications support to colleagues.
We have exciting plans for the future - and you could help us tell our story. Find out more at letsgo
What are we looking for?
You will be customer-focused, with the ability to interact empathetically with a wide variety of people. You'll have an excellent grasp of written English and an understanding of how to tailor your writing appropriately for different audiences and across a range of channels. You will have a background in marketing, communications or PR, and knowledge of the housing or construction sectors would be a distinct advantage.
What can we offer you?
We know that people are our most valuable assets, so we offer a range of benefits including 28 days' annual leave pro rata, an employer pension contribution of up to 11%, development opportunities and employee rewards such as shopping vouchers, duvet days and free massages.
