CAD Engineer - Body mechanisms
Job Purpose:
Lead CAD Engineer / Systems architect - Mechanisms & Vision
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
Expert NX / Tce user
CAD modelling of regulators, locks/latches, interior/exterior handles, internal and external mirrors, camera vision systems, towbars, interior blinds, active aero mechanisms
Buck management / maintenance
Align cross functional targets and constraints at programme start to set DVP for component/system sign off
Preparation of detailed drawings to drafting standards
Project management of component delivery through all development phases into Design releasing and validation
Mentor and lead CAD and Senior CAD engineersQualifications & Experience:
Degree educated or equivalent
NX / TCE Advanced level
Proven Component / System delivery
Ability to lead and mentor less experienced team members.
Working knowledge of Product Creation Processes.
In depth knowledge of Mechanisms and/or Indirect vision systems
